WHAT ARE THE DUVEES?

Deep in the metaverse, live a species of duck with a unique turtle shell on its back called the DuVee. Each DuVee is unique and programmatically generated from over 265 possible traits, including expression, headwear, turtle shell, and more. All DuVees are rare, but some are rarer than others.

An NFT refers to a “Non-fungible Token” which is a digital asset whose uniqueness and ownership can be demonstrated and verified using distributed ledger technology (DLT). When someone “mints” an NFT, they create a unique digital version of the work as a data file using blockchain, or another type of DLT. Once minted, NFTs cannot be edited or deleted, and can be viewed
publicly and freely traded with verifiable security of exclusive ownership and transaction traceability.

NFTs are not just about supporting digital arts, NFTs are increasingly also being assigned utility tied to ownership and identity rights, such as “entry tickets” to community clubrooms, avatars in metaverse games, or even voting rights in decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs).

It will show up at your Ethereum address, which is viewable through your Metamask wallet. It will also be viewable on this website and Opensea (links will be provided after minting).
